New GymFlex Members:

Since the gyms were closed by the government, it is not possible to make a selection. gymFlex will reopen for selections after the government announces it is safe to do so.

Existing gym members via GymFlex:

Firstly, we hope all our members are remaining safe, active and well during this dreadful pandemic.

I'm still having payroll deductions but can't use my gym

We're sorry you are having deductions from your payroll despite not having access to your chosen health club as a result of the government closing fitness facilities on 21st March. Unfortunately, we're not responsible for your employer's salary deductions nor for your relationship with the club itself.

When you originally made your selection on gymflex.co.uk, we collated the data to allow your employer to:

  a. Pay upfront for your annual gym membership,
  b. Make the corresponding salary deductions.

However, as clubs' default position is that they don't want you to lose out on your membership, they will extend your membership for the same time period which they're closed for.

Alternatively, they will let you renew your membership later in the year and they will adjust that rate to reflect the current period of closure.

To summarise: Some of you are having a membership deducted without being able to use the gym. This will be offset by having the same period using the gym where you will not have the amount deducted.

I want to cancel my gym membership

At present, gyms are not offering cancellations or refunds related to the enforced closure.

GymFlex can't action cancellation requests from employees as we're not responsible for your payroll deductions.

I want to change or upgrade my gym membership

There are, of course, many individual circumstances - eg, furlough, working from home, change in lifestyle etc - that may warrant a change to your gym membership. As your company initially paid for your membership, requests for a change in circumstances must come via your employer's benefits team. GymFlex can't action change/upgrade requests from employees as we're not responsible for your payroll deductions.
